Black garlic Butter

Recently, our 11-year-old son Silas had some time in the kitchen and worked on creating the most delicious black garlic butter recipe using Knagwood Black Garlic. He eventually got the ratios just right and we wanted to share it with you!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

4 cloves of Knagwood Black Garlic

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or chives

Instructions:

1. Pop all the ingredients in your blender and churn until combined.

2. Spoon the black garlic butter mixture onto a sheet of greaseproof paper.

3. Roll the paper around the butter mixture and twist the ends to form a log.

4. Chill the black garlic butter in the fridge for at least an hour to firm up.

5. Once the butter has firmed up, remove it from the fridge and slice it into rounds.

6. Serve with your favourite bread, toast, or even on top of grilled meats and vegetables.

We hope you enjoy Silas's creation as much as we do! We smothered it on our corn cobs last night and it was AMAZING!
