Our Story

I’m Tadhgh of Knagwood Black Garlic, based in the beautiful Macedon Ranges of Victoria. Our farm is situated on the land of the Taungurung people, and we are proud to be able to grow and harvest delicious garlic while also honouring the rich culture of this land.

My wife Sarah and I live on a small property with our two children, who are an integral part of our farm. From planting and harvesting to packaging and selling, our children are involved in many aspects of the farm's daily operations. We believe in passing on the values of hard work, responsibility, and a love for the land to the next generation.

We specialise in black garlic, a unique and flavourful product that is created through a fermentation process. We use regenerative agricultural practices to build soil fertility and ensure the best possible produce for our customers. We are developing a collection of delicious black garlic recipes to share with you as we continue to cook with this incredible flavour bomb.

You can find me most weeks at the Daylesford Sunday Market and the second Saturday of every month at Kyneton Farmer’s Market. We also have our products stocked in two of our favourite Kyneton establishments- Pollen on High St and Fed on Mollison St. And everything can be ordered in our online store.
